Bon Jovi Hells Angeles

With the intention of finding inspiration right, the real one that helps to recall the emotions of many years ago and translate them with the right words, I wanted to listen to the symbol of this great cartoon, and as a result I have come shining eyes! Who knows if it happens to you?!
Although I know well the first soundtrack performed by the "Knights of the King", my generation grew up mainly in the voice of Cristina D'Avena, and the song "A sword for Lady Oscar is incredible emotional intensity.
Truth be told every detail of this successful animated series carries on the "spectator" a special charm: the atmosphere of the court of Versailles, the intrigues and loves of characters, the music, the colors ... we find ourselves immediately to take the views of the protagonist of the story (make it clear that unlike other celebrities, Lady Oscar is NOT a historical figure actually existed):
Oscar François de Jarjiayes born December 25, 1755, in spite of his father, General de Jarjiayes, who does not hide his disappointment at having given birth to the sixth daughter, which is why he decided to grow the small men's clothes and habits, subjecting her to hard training it to become the heir of his father's military discipline and is only 14 years earned the Oscar nomination of Captain Guard Royal Guard and later the body of the Austrian princess Marie Antoinette , young wife of the future King Louis VI of France , and great admirer of Oscar (when they first met the princess falls in love at first sight mistaking it for a man).
However fearless gaze and the severity of the currency can not completely hide the beauty of their femininity of the girl, who attracted stares and gossip of men and women of the court, a beauty that above all does not escape 'attention Andre Grandier , the affable grandson of the ruler of the great family of Jarjieyes and childhood friend Oscar.
Unfortunately for us fans of the gentle Andrew, the protagonist's heart beats for another cool much of the court of Versailles: Count Hans Axel Von Fersen , as well as neo-loving Queen Marie Antoinette.
Precisely because of rumors that turn to the court about the alleged (even if true, even historically speaking) extra-marital relationship of the queen, Fersen decides to leave the country to support the revolutionaries of America.
Despite the mixed feelings that confuse the personality, in itself a complex of Oscar, fought between the rigid military duties and his true nature as a woman, there was nothing to prevent it from carrying out its task of protecting Marie Antoinette (who has since become his great friend) from continuing conspiracies being hatched against the royal couple, it is primarily to thwart the plots of noble grim figures, acting out of envy in the shadows of the court (remember the favorite courtesan of King Louis XV, Madame Du Barry , the Countess de Polignac by Angelico face and heart poisonous and Jeanne Valois de la Motte, an important figure in the famous "Affair of the Necklace" which contributed to throw mud on the figure of the Queen of France).

The nastiness and cynicism of these and other characters that move around the court of Versailles sometimes leaves us appalled and disbelieving children, who at the time we were still bandaged from the illusion that they could not exist in the real world ... it took people so cruel to let go a few years to grow and be convinced that happen every day actually worse things!
But back to the world of Lady Oscar, namely the beautiful Count Fersen returned from: finally see a spectacular episode, in which unpublished un'Oscar is allowed in the public eye as we had not ever! I'm talking about the great ball court to which the girl is more beautiful than ever, with her hair and wearing a fabulous white dress; keep it all and everyone is wondering who the beautiful woman dancing with Fersen, the only one who can see something familiar about that face, sweet and slightly embarrassed.
The count is determined to investigate the identity of the mysterious lady of the dance, and looks at the home of Oscar trying to deny everything, unable to hide his feelings, but Fersen stresses of being in love with the Queen Mary Antoinette, sparking Oscar in a sort of revulsion against his feminine side that had led to so great a disappointment, at which point the proper Andrè, tired of passively watch the umpteenth writer of a woman posing as a man, Oscar instinctively throws on the bed tearing her clothes and declaring their love with a kiss: a prey to shame the girl, who until then had never seen more than one friend, decides to leave and abandon the Royal Guard to enlist in command of National Guard soldiers.
But Andre the reaches and joins himself to be near her, despite the detached attitude of Oscar plus accuses him of being the elusive " Black Knight", the thief who steals from the rich to give to the poor, it should be noted that at this point in history we are now in full climate of revolution, the French are increasingly poor and increasingly intolerant of the wealthy and indifferent attitude of the monarchy.
Andre able to prove innocent at a great price, it will lose vision in one eye during a fight with the real Black Knight. Following the Oscar will be close and closer to his dear friend, eager to flee their repressive especially after I found out to be ill with tuberculosis.
Meanwhile sympathize with Andre Bernard (who was hiding under the dress of the Black Knight) and the Democratic Party, and even Oscar feels they want to fight for the cause of the people every day despite the risk of being lynched by an angry mob, exasperated. Therefore officially betrays the loyalty to the queen with a letter to his father, and spends a passionate night of love with Andre in a forest. All we wanted a happy ending stopped there, but unfortunately the real story, the one we studied in school and that belongs to us too, wants the French Revolution overwhelm the tragic fate of the characters: not long after Andre died to save his beloved by a stray bullet, while Oscar lose his life on July 14, 1789 , fighting for freedom, just before the storming of the Bastille (which she just helps to bring down a cannon shot).
We have come to the end, Rosalie (a girl of humble origins who was welcomed at Oscar) Alain (National Guard soldier and great friend of Andrew) and Bernard tell us what happened next The Count Fersen tried to escape the royal family abroad, but these were later recognized in Varennes, imprisoned and taken to the gallows.
E 'particularly touching scene of a Marie Antoinette with long hair, loose and gray with exasperation, as it prepares to be beheaded, before his death, however, presents Rosalie a pink cloth white sewn by herself, asking her to color it with your favorite color of Oscar. That will be pink and pure white!

& MORE INTERESTING ': The anime, as often happens, comes from a manga: "Berusaiyu no Bara" by Ryoko Ikeda, which literally translated is "The Rose of Versailles".
this is a story of passion and particularly "good tough," in the '90s there were many complaints, unlike the first television broadcast in 1982. Just to give you some example, was criticized a meeting between Oscar and Rosalie, the latter fact, that crendendo this is a man, without the coach Oscar offering in exchange for money. Or in the process because of the famous necklace, Jeanne de la Motte Valois Marie Antoinette accuses of having lesbian relationships with other ladies of the court, including Oscar. This scene was first amended and then removed.
Let me conclude this review with some of the most beautiful phrases that we can find in the anime, I suggest the below:

" Apparently you have a cool as ice ... but inside you there's a fire burning . " (Andre Oscar)

" Love can bring Two things: the complete happiness, or slower and sad agony .. " (Oscar)

" A warm and gentle man is the man upon whom one can truly rely on. But when you realize this, most women already aged " (Oscar)

"A rose, be it white or red, can never be a lilac. A rose is still a rose! " (Andre)

" If you really want to shoot at the people's representatives, on the unarmed men, you will first pass over my dead body! " (Oscar)

'L' experience teaches me, your majesty, that a small fire can often spark a big fire. " (Count Von Fersen)
